بدأت شبكة تويتر باختبار توفير 280 حرف في التغريدة الواحدة بعد سنوات من توفير 140 حرف فقط، وذكرت أن هذه الإمكانية متوفّرة للبعض في الوقت الراهن على أن تصل فيما بعد للجميع دون تحديد فترة زمنية مُحدّدة.
ويُمكن تفعيل هذه الميزة من خلال بعض الخطوات البسيطة التي تبدأ أولًا:
العدّاد سيُظهر 140 حرف فقط. لكن وبالكتابة سيلاحظ المستخدم أن المُحرّر لن يُظهر تنبيهات حمراء اللون إلا بعد تجاوز حاجز الـ 280 حرف.
Twitter began to test the availability of 280 characters per tweet after years of providing only 140 characters, and stated that this possibility is available to some at the moment and to arrive later for all without specifying a specific period of time.
This feature can be activated through some simple steps that start first:
Install the Tampermonkey Add-in, an add-on that is available for Google Chrome and for Firefox as well.
Then go to goo.gl/Yms5au, which contains a simple code.
After the link is opened, the RAW button is pressed to show a new page of the Tampermonkey add-in with the Install button, which is clicked by 280 characters.
You can then go to the official Twitter site and start writing the tweet without restriction.
The counter will only show 140 characters. However, in writing, the user will notice that the editor will only show red alerts after exceeding the 280-character limit.
