The Android system holds its grip on applications that collect user data without their knowledge
سيبدأ نظام أندرويد بتنبيه المستخدمين من التطبيقات التي تقوم بجمع بياناتهم دون علمهم، وذلك بناءً علىتدوينة رسمية نشرتها قوقل في مدوّنتها الخاصّة بمواضيع الحماية.
وقالت قوقل إن التطبيقات التي تقوم بجمع بيانات المستخدم، كاسمه ورقم هاتفه وعنوان بريده الإلكتروني، دون إخطار المستخدم أو دون عرض اتفاقية الاستخدام للموافقة عليها سيتم تصنيفها على أنها تعمل في الخفاء لخداع المستخدم، وهذا يعني ظهور تنبيه عند الدخول إليها داخل المتجر، أو عند البحث عليها في مُحرّك البحث.
وشدّدت قوقل الخناق على التطبيقات في الآونة الأخيرة بعدما منعت مُطوّري التطبيقات من عرض إعلانات على شاشة القفل. كما كثّفت جهودها في خدمة Play Protect للحماية من التطبيقات الخبيثة.
وعلى الرغم من تلك الجهود، إلا أن الشركة اعترفت بأنها ومنذ بداية 2017 تقوم بجمع بيانات الموقع الجغرافي لمستخدمي نظام أندرويد دون علمهم، حتى عند إيقاف تفعيل خاصيّة تحديد الموقع الجغرافي داخل الجهاز.
