| Hyundai and Kia cars will be equipped with a smart digital assistant by 2019 |
Both Hyundai and Kia have expressed a desire to provide a state-of-the-art digital assistant in all cars by 2019, all of which will be connected to the Internet by 2025.
These companies, in collaboration with SoundHound, have begun to develop an intelligent digital assistant capable of understanding what the user is saying to execute his or her voice commands, whatever their complexity, including verbatim instructions.
It will be able to execute user commands if asked in one sentence to know the weather and the operation of external lighting, it will deal with each part alone and will understand the user's destination. You will also be able to provide some data such as upcoming appointments or road conditions.
Hyundai said it would review a fraction of those systems during its participation in the CES 2018, and to provide the same version in some cars in South Korea in 2018 for the experiment only.
