Mute video and prevent annoying windows from prominent features coming to Google Chrome in 2018
With the beginning of 2018, Google is poised to launch a new Chrome browser update that will add a host of features, including the automatic mute of the video and the blocking of annoying windows from appearing.
These features appeared in the latest beta version that was recently released. This is after an official post that was previously published explaining the upcoming Chrome browser changes.
The user can now prevent the sound of videos from being played on their sites by clicking on the icon next to the URL in the address bar to change the media playback capabilities of each site. In addition, the company has enhanced security by monitoring the annoying windows that open to display ads and preventing them from doing so, while preventing the user from converting to other links when the buttons are pressed.
Users of Windows 10 will have the ability to play HDR footage, and the company is testing the use of the Windows 10 notification system to organize it. Finally, Chrome users on all systems will be able to open videos in separate windows to browse the rest of the sites easily.

ويُمكن للمستخدم الآن منع تشغيل صوت مقاطع الفيديو في المواقع التي يرغب بها، وذلك من خلال الضغط على الآيقونة الموجودة إلى جانب عنوان الموقع في شريط العنوان لتغيير صلاحيات تشغيل الوسائط لكل موقع. وإضافة لذلك، عزّزت الشركة من الأمان من خلال رصد النوافذ المُزعجة التي تُفتح لعرض الإعلانات ومنعها من القيام بهذا الأمر، مع منع تحويل المُستخدم لروابط أُخرى عند الضغط على الأزرار.
مُستخدمو ويندوز 10 سيحصلوا على إمكانية تشغيل المقاطع بدقّة HDR، كما بدأت الشركة باختبار استخدام نظام الإشعارات الخاص بويندوز 10 لتنظيمها. وأخيرًا، سيكون بمقدور مُستخدمي كروم على جميع الأنظمة فتح مقاطع الفيديو في نوافذ مُنفصلة لتصفّح بقيّة المواقع بسهولة.
