Samsung may unveil a Chrome OS laptop with a high resolution camera |
After weak rumors surfaced in November 2017, the ChromeUnboxed site returned with assurances about the existence of a Samsung laptop from Google ChromeOS ChromeOS.
The site monitored changes to Google's software code on the Github site, which indicated the presence of a 2-in-1 laptop named Nautlius from Samsung's development.
The computer may carry the Sony IMX258 camera, same as the LG G6, which means high resolution for those who want to take pictures or make video calls. It will also carry the seventh generation of Intel processors.
There are no details on the rest of the specifications or the size of the screen, but the site believes that 12 inches or less will be appropriate as a computer with a removable keyboard, so it becomes a tablet.
The device may be at a high price to rival PixelBook from Google to deliver high performance and running Android applications efficiently, and that information may be disclosed in detail during the company's participation in the exhibition CES 2018.
